What to Expect
Homebodi Yoga stays true to the name by curating a comfortable and safe enviornment to practice in. When you sign up for a class in our cozy little studio, expect a small class of 4-6 people. I will offer individual instruction when necessary, meant to ensure your movement practice is personalized to your body’s current ability. My hope is that you feel good when leaving your mat, despite any challenges you may have faced while on it.
What to Bring
I recommend wearing clothes that are comfortable and allow for a full range of motion in all directions-light layers can be great for a Yoga class, as your body’s temperature may change drastically from beginning to end. A full water bottle is also recommended, especially for more active classes. We are able to provide blocks, straps, blankets, and bolsters for a full class but request that you bring your own mat. If you forget yours at home, we do have a limited number to borrow-these are available on a first come, first served basis.
As a Yoga instructor, my philosophy is to meet students where they are, challenge them to grow at a pace that feels comfortable, and build a deeper connection with their mind and body. We each practice Yoga on our own mat, but the community fostered by the shared experience of class is often the reason many of us return again and again.
