Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique created by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 20th century. It’s used as a way to manage symptoms and improve general well-being. During a reiki session, the practitioner places their hands either directly on you or just above you while channeling universal life force energy to take your nervous system out of flight or fight mode and into rest and digest mode so that your body can heal itself.

Reiki Master and Owner,
Danielle’s Soul Clinic
I first experienced Reiki after I had hip surgery in 2016. Reiki substantially contributed to my healing both physically, mentally and spiritually. Prior to this experience, I was quite skeptical of how Reiki worked. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I experienced an array of sensations during my sessions resulting in significant pain and stress relief. After being diagnosed with a chronic illness in 2019 and searching for alternative ways to manage it, I once again discovered the healing powers of Reiki. This opened the door to becoming a certified Reiki Master. I’m passionate about Reiki and I’m excited to share this wonderful way of healing with others. I do Reiki very intuitively, because of this no two sessions are alike. You will receive exactly what your mind, body and spirit need most.

Owner, Freya Cottage
I create sacred containers that allow women to feel seen, heard and safe to process what’s on their heart, all while prioritizing their joy and play. As a multi-passionate visionary, my craft includes mindful movement, creative ritual guidance and holistic self care intentionally designed to strengthen your mind-body connection and welcome in vibrant wellbeing. Everything I teach and embody I learned the hard way through many seasons of perfectionism, overwork, under-nourishment and martyrdom, allowing me to alchemize these experiences, dive into healing on a soul level and share deeply transformational work rooted in gentle awareness. Freya Cottage (affectionately named after Freya, the Norse goddess of magick) is your soft landing place to lean into that gentle awareness and invite in the power of the work.
