Curious about Reiki, Meditation, or Breathwork?

Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique created by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 20th century. It’s used as a way to manage symptoms and improve general well-being. During a reiki session, the practitioner places their hands either directly on you or just above you while channeling universal life force energy (or Chi) to take your nervous system out of flight or fight mode and into rest and digest mode so that your body can heal itself.

Meditation is considered a type of mind-body complementary medicine commonly used for relaxation and stress reduction. During meditation, you focus your attention and eliminate the stream of jumbled thoughts that may be crowding your mind and causing stress. Meditation can give you a sense of ease, peace, and balance that can benefit your overall health and help carry you more calmly through your day.

Breathwork is a series of breathing techniques used to calm the mind resulting in deep relaxation. Breathwork comes from Yoga where pranayama (focusing on breath) is used to create a conscious mind-body connection.

Marisa Hohaia

Advanced Reiki Practitioner and Owner, Renewal Reiki

With a background in psychology and recruitment, helping people and being of service has always been a passion of mine. Over the years I’ve expanded on new and different ways in which I can help people in all areas of their lives. I obtained a life coach certification and a trauma informed spiritual coach certification to guide others toward release, healing, and transformation in their personal lives. When I was working through my own personal struggles I heard about reiki and decided to give it a try. The results for me were so amazing that I decided to add this healing modality to my tool kit. As I got more involved with reiki, it became apparent that it’s part of my calling, thus I have continued to learn and grow obtaining my advanced certification. Whether someone is coming to see me for an energy tune up or deep trauma processing, I absolutely love seeing the transformation and relief they experience from the beginning to the end of the session; it’s rewarding to witness. It brings me so much satisfaction to help others in this way!

Danielle Sheridan

Reiki Master and Owner,
Danielle’s Soul Clinic

I first experienced Reiki after I had hip surgery in 2016. Reiki substantially contributed to my healing both physically, mentally and spiritually.  Prior to this experience, I was quite skeptical of how Reiki worked. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I experienced an array of sensations during my sessions resulting in significant pain and stress relief. After being diagnosed with a chronic illness in 2019 and searching for alternative ways to manage it, I once again discovered the healing powers of Reiki. This opened the door to becoming a certified Reiki Master.  I’m passionate about Reiki and I’m excited to share this wonderful way of healing with others. I do Reiki very intuitively, because of this no two sessions are alike. You will receive exactly what your mind, body and spirit need most.
